Vine surgery – Tool capable of cutting through wood and high tensile wire

Hi guys, carrying out some re working and surgery on old damaged vines, i’m faced with the issue of old wire grown around and inside old cordons.

Wondering if anyone has a good cutting tool that can cut the vine and the high tensile wire? Ive tried recip saw with many different blades and a chainsaw is only so good until you hit the wire.

A little background…. Ive got new canes id like to use as cordons whilst removing dead arms or unproductive arms so i need to shorten the dead arms so i can wrap the new canes.
