Cordon(Oblique or Vertical) or Guyot for Merlot, C.Franc, Syrah

Hello everyone,
Which variety is recommended for Vertical controlled branching and which is for Oblique branching? I have Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Syrah and Rhine riesling. I’ll be very grateful if someone share your experience and to recommend me which shaping structure to choose for which variety( Vertical or Oblique technique). Or maybe Guyot structure? Also for Muscaris (PIWI)?
