Description
At the moment the exams are only held in Italy. English speaking tutors are available only at Veneto and Lombardia sessions.
The practical exam is divided into two sessions: the winter session that evaluates the students’ capacity to apply the principles of the SIMONIT&SIRCH Method to winter pruning, and the spring session that evaluates the students’ capacity to perform shoot selection applying the procedures described in the course.
The exam is performed on a limited number of plants and has a duration of about 4 hours per session. The approximative program of the exam sessions is:
- Meeting (about 30 minutes)
- Examination test on 20 consecutive plants (about 1 hour)
- Test results check (tutor); in-couple-training (students) (about 1hour)
- Final discussion (about 1 hour)
The winter exam sessions will start at 8:00 am and will be held in the morning while the spring sessions will start at 01:00 pm (13:00) and will be held in the afternoon.

The dates of the spring exam sessions are subject to change in case of unforeseen weather-related events and/or unusual development of the plants. If you are unable to join the spring session, it will be possible to do it the following year or to change location.
The results of the exams will be communicated approximately one month after the spring session, when the relative certificates are issued.
